Disturbing Footage Shows Point Police Get Knifed in Unexpected Assault
A ranking policeman who rushed to the assistance of a colleague that was assaulted by a blade-wielder was granted the Monarch's Honor for Valor.
Sgt Tim Ansell struggled against twenty-seven-year-old Jacob Brown after he pressed a knife to the neck of his colleague Sgt Marc Foster.
Brown began the violence as the officers and their partner, PC Marcus Wolstencroft, were talking to a driver subsequent to a traffic accident in that location in July 2023.

The new recognition follows after the three officers were granted organizational Courage Honors in October 2023 and the prestigious bravery honor from the regional officer association in April 2024.
They additionally received a North West Valor Recognition in July 2024.
